Your first 30 days of AOR preparation

Use this flexible study plan alongside the current official syllabus and previous-year papers. Adjust the workload to your preparation stage and professional commitments.

  1. Days 1–7: map your starting point. Review the four papers, gather your study materials and complete the self-assessment. Set realistic weekly study hours and list topics that need attention.
  2. Days 8–14: read and practise. Divide study time across Practice & Procedure and Drafting. After each reading session, write an outline or practise a relevant question. Keep an error log.
  3. Days 15–21: strengthen recall. Review Leading Cases and Professional Ethics. Summarise the principle, context and application in your own words. Revisit weak areas from your error log.
  4. Days 22–30: test and revise. Attempt timed practice across the four papers. Review missed points, improve structure and plan the next month around the gaps you found.

Weekly review

Record topics covered, questions attempted, drafting exercises completed, recurring errors and the next action. Preparation progress is more useful than a predicted pass score.
