Welcome to DSSSB Teaching Recruitment. We will study DSSSB Teacher Posts and Exam Structure: Reading the Notification, work through an example, and practise using the course's learning material. Preparation framework for DSSSB teaching recruitment with emphasis on subject understanding and written-test readiness. Sign in and use the study header to open your authorised course. Select this published lesson. Start Course Tutor with Auto audio on: it teaches continuously, answers a typed question, then resumes. Reading the notification in five passes. 1. Post identification: post name, post code, user department, pay level. 2. Eligibility: essential qualification, desirable qualification, teacher eligibility test requirement, age rule and relaxation rules. 3. Scheme: tiers, sections, marks per section, duration, negative marking rule and qualifying marks. Scenario. Ritika holds a BA with English Honours, a B.Ed., and has passed CTET Paper II. A notification lists TGT English posts for two departments under two different post codes. Step 1 — identify posts. She lists both post codes and the user department of each. She notes that she may need to apply separately for each post code if the notice requires it. Step 2 — eligibility. For each post code she copies the essential qualification line by line: graduation requirement (subject combination and percentage rule), teacher-training requirement, eligibility test requirement. She ticks each line against her documents. She finds that one post code asks for English in a specified number of years of graduation; she checks her marksheets year by year rather than relying on the degree title. Step 3 — age. She notes the cut-off date for age mentioned in the notice and calculates her age on that date, not on the date she applies. Step 4 — scheme. She writes the sections of the paper and the marks shown in the scheme notice, and the negative-marking rule if any, into her summary. Result. Ritika now has a one-page sheet per post code. Second example — PRT versus TGT. Arjun has a D.El.Ed. and CTET Paper I. He wants to apply for TGT Social Science. His sheet shows that TGT needs graduation with the subject combination plus B.Ed. or an equivalent course recognised for secondary level; his D.El.Ed. is a primary-level qualification. He concludes that PRT is the correct post for him now. Which mistake would change the reasoning in this example? Treating post names as identical across departments. Correction: always work by post code, because qualifications and vacancies differ. Calculating age on the application date. Correction: use the cut-off date stated in the notification. Relying on last year's exam pattern. Ask Course Tutor: please explain this step from the example. She ticks each line against her documents. Why does it follow? Add what you tried, so the explanation addresses your difficulty. Now try the source practice. Which document is the final source of essential qualifications for a DSSSB teaching post? Pause before the answer. The source answer is: The recruitment rules of the user department, as reproduced in the DSSSB notification. Compare your reasoning as well as the result. If your response differs, return to the worked example and identify the step that needs correction. Explain the key idea in your own words, revisit any mistaken step, then continue to the next lesson. Use Stop to end Course Tutor when you finish.
