Welcome to Master of Computer Applications (MCA). This video adapts a worked example from your published course reading, then shows how to practise through the learning management system. Supplementary academic support for Master of Computer Applications (MCA), with original concept notes, topic practice, revision and Tutor-led explanation. The underlying degree or qualification is awarded only by the learner's recognised institution. Sign in and open your authorised course through the study header. Select a lesson from its current published reading list. With Auto audio on, Course Tutor teaches continuously, answers a typed question, then resumes. Trace execution in order, including the exceptional path. The source method prints A, attempts integer division of ten by its input, prints B on success, and has a catch branch plus a finally block. For a divisor of two, division succeeds. The method prepares to return five. For a divisor of zero, Java integer division throws an arithmetic exception before the print of B. With two, the visible sequence is A, then B, then D from finally, followed by the return of five. With zero, A appears, B is skipped, the catch prints C and prepares negative one, and finally prints D before that return completes. The normal case prints A, B, D and returns five. The handled exceptional case prints A, C, D and returns negative one. The printed letters and the returned value are separate observations. Does a return inside the try or catch skip finally in these examples? Include the illustration's given facts and the step you tried when asking Course Tutor. No. The finally block runs before the method actually returns on both of these paths. Keep that statement tied to the shown control flow, rather than inventing a guarantee about every possible process termination. Now try this related practice question. Try an original input variation: what prints and what returns when the divisor is five? Pause before checking the answer. Division succeeds, so the method prints A, B, D and returns two. No catch branch is entered. Use this learning routine with your course's published material. Read, attempt a step, ask about what is unclear, and compare your reasoning. Revisit an error before continuing to the next lesson.
