Welcome to Class 11 Computer Science. This video adapts a worked example from your published course reading, then shows how to practise through the learning management system. Class 11 Computer Science learning and exam support across Indian senior-secondary pathways, with original concept notes, practice, revision and tutor-led explanations. Sign in and open your authorised course through the study header. Select a lesson from its current published reading list. With Auto audio on, Course Tutor teaches continuously, answers a typed question, then resumes. Predicting output begins with the operator, not just the numbers. Python floor division, remainder and ordinary division have different meanings. We use positive inputs so the quotient-and-remainder relationship is easy to see. The published lesson sets x to seventeen and prints x floor-divided by five, x remainder five, and x divided by five, in that order. Three full groups of five use fifteen, leaving two. Floor division therefore gives three and the remainder gives two. Ordinary division retains the fractional value and gives three point four. Check the first two values: three times five plus two returns seventeen. The output sequence is three, two, three point four. Keep the order of the three expressions when predicting a printed line; three correct values in the wrong positions are still an incorrect trace. Why is the third answer not the same as the first? Include the illustration's given facts and the step you tried when asking Course Tutor. Ordinary division represents the fractional quotient. Floor division uses the floor of that quotient. With this positive example, that floor is three; the fraction has not disappeared from the mathematics. Now try this related practice question. The source asks for nineteen floor-divided by four. Work out the quotient before checking. Pause before checking the answer. The answer is four. Four groups of four use sixteen, while five groups would need twenty. As a check, the remaining three completes nineteen. Use this learning routine with your course's published material. Read, attempt a step, ask about what is unclear, and compare your reasoning. Revisit an error before continuing to the next lesson.
