Welcome to Judgment & Order Writing. This video uses a clearly labelled original exercise to explain a subject idea and how to practise it through the learning management system. Practical judgment and order writing preparation for judicial examinations and practice. Sign in and open your authorised course from the study header. Choose the relevant subject lesson. Start Course Tutor with Auto audio on. It teaches continuously, answers a typed question and then resumes. A useful judgment-writing exercise separates the disputed issue, the evidence accepted for the exercise, the reasoning and the finding. State what a fact proves before calculating the result. Keep an allegation distinct from an accepted fact. Use this original fictional exercise. An invoice for 50,000 rupees is admitted. The claimant accepts a payment of 20,000. The defendant asserts a further payment of 10,000 and provides a matching bank record. For this exercise, assume that record is authentic and accepted as payment of the same invoice. Frame the issue: was the additional 10,000 payment made against this invoice? Under the stated assumptions, the accepted bank record supports that finding. Calculate the balance only after accounting for both accepted payments: 50,000 minus 20,000 minus 10,000. The balance is 20,000 rupees. A concise finding links the accepted record to the additional payment, then shows the calculation. The conclusion follows from the stated evidence; it is not an average of the parties' competing figures. Ask Course Tutor: Why must the finding on the additional payment come before the final balance? Include the given facts and the step you tried. The balance depends on whether that payment is established under the exercise's assumptions. Arithmetic cannot resolve a disputed evidential fact by itself. Now use an admitted invoice of 72,000 rupees, an acknowledged payment of 27,000 and an additional accepted payment of 18,000. State the finding and calculate the balance. Pause the video before the answer. Account for the additional accepted payment, then calculate 72,000 minus 27,000 minus 18,000. The balance is 27,000 rupees. Explain the evidence and the subtraction in separate sentences. Compare your reasoning, return to any mistaken step and write a short explanation in your own words. Then continue to the next relevant lesson. Use Stop to end Course Tutor when you finish.
