Welcome to Class 7 Complete Learning Programme — 6 Subject Package. We will study Number systems, work through an example, and practise using the course's learning material. 6 included subject courses: Class 7 English; Class 7 Hindi; Class 7 Mathematics; Class 7 Science; Class 7 Social Science; Class 7 Computational Thinking, Computers & AI. Sign in and use the study header to open your authorised course. Select this published lesson. Start Course Tutor with Auto audio on: it teaches continuously, answers a typed question, then resumes. Keep your board, session and medium selected. Finally, exponents. Two to the power five means two multiplied by itself five times. The small raised number is the exponent and tells you how many factors there are, while the big number is the base. Example four. Simplify three to the power four multiplied by three to the power two. Step one, the bases are the same, so add the exponents: four plus two is six. Step two, that gives three to the power six. Step three, work it out. Three to the power four is eighty one and three squared is nine, and eighty one times nine is seven hundred and twenty nine. So the answer is three to the power six, which equals seven hundred and twenty nine. Which mistake would change the reasoning in this example? The first common slip is treating the minus sign as glue rather than as an instruction. In negative fifteen minus negative twenty three, the second minus sign turns the negative twenty three into a positive twenty three. Ask Course Tutor: please explain this step from the example. Step two, that gives three to the power six. Step three, work it out. Why does it follow? Add what you tried, so the explanation addresses your difficulty. Now try the source practice. Divide seven eighths by seven sixteenths. Pause before the answer. The source answer is: seven eighths multiplied by sixteen sevenths gives one hundred and twelve over fifty six, which is two. Compare your reasoning as well as the result. If your response differs, return to the worked example and identify the step that needs correction. Explain the key idea in your own words, revisit any mistaken step, then continue to the next lesson. Use Stop to end Course Tutor when you finish.
